TENNECO EXTENDS WALKER® EMISSIONS CONTROL PRODUCT WARRANTY COVERAGE TO THREE YEARS
Frankfurt, Germany, 13 September 2016 – Tenneco, one of the world’s largest suppliers of original equipment and replacement exhaust silencers and pipes, catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters and other emissions control components, has extended its Walker® Emissions Control product warranty coverage from two to three years for customers throughout Europe.
The extended warranty coverage, announced in conjunction with this week’s Automechanika 2016 trade fair in Frankfurt, reflects the high-quality materials, construction and reliability of Walker products, said Bruce Ronning, vice president and general manager, Tenneco Europe Aftermarket.

Walker products for the replacement market reflect this commitment to providing outstanding emissions control solutions that help build stronger customer satisfaction and loyalty for installers across Europe,” Ronning said.
The three-year warranty term now applies to all Walker silencers, pipes, catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters sold and installed in Europe, exclusively for the owner of the vehicle at the time of the product’s installation. In addition to offering one of the industry’s most appealing product warranties, Tenneco assures workshop owners, mechanics and their customers that each product is fully homologated in accordance with the most stringent government regulations to help restore and/or maintain proper engine performance and protect the environment from harmful emissions.
Restrictions to warranty coverage – including but not limited to product fitment contrary to Tenneco’s application information and installation standards; products that have been modified and/or damaged by incorrect mounting or use; and other limitations – continue to apply.
